Job Description

As a result of recent growth, there is an exciting opportunity for a Service Project Manager within our Clients Building Management Systems (BMS) & Technology business. This role will be responsible for our Clients northern projects within the BMS, IOT,connected buildings and digital market.The BMS Service Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the delivery of these projects within the Northern Region, undertaking sales to operations handovers, supply chain engagement, engineering management right through to project handoverand post completion support. You will work alongside the customer, account manager, service and project engineering teams.This is a tremendous opportunity to carve out a long term career path within a true market leader as well as being rewarded generously through an attractive package.Job Title: SERVICE PROJECT MANAGER (North) Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers and vendors
  • Undertake a sales handover to interpret and understand the scope of works
  • Responsible for H&S and environmental management of all projects
  • Direction, control and implementation of projects
  • Responsible for the commercial performance of the project
  • Monitor, review and report on the progress of all projects to the customer, leader and support staff
  • Drive standardisation throughout the organisation
  • Engage with Supply Chain & Subcontract organisations, raising third party contracts, managing project quality and commercial accounts
  • Provide reports to project leadership
  • Undertake risk reviews
  • Project meetings
  • Maintains professional certifications and licenses (e.g., SMSTS / First Aid at Work)
Start date: ASAPPackage: Realistic on target £60k to £65k, includes negotiable salary, bonus scheme, car /car allowance, health, pension.Location: FLEXIBLE North of EnglandCandidate profile:
  • Experienced Project Manager with, ideally, 3+ years project management experience
  • Up to 5 years experience of project engineering in the construction industry, with experience in BMS and control systems, and M&E knowledge
  • Experience working on quick turn, small multiple projects , typically 50-£150K in value
  • Knowledge of Contractual procedures and requirements (e.g. the Construction Act)
  • Ability to manage internal & external stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written skills, ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
  • Ideally knowledge of any OEM BMS platform especially Metasys, Tridium, Trend.
  • Comfortable working as part of a team
  • Experience managing H&S in a construction environment
  • Valid CSCS site card & SSSTS certified
  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word & Project
  • Ability to travel North and Midlands with an occasional overnight stay
