Job Description

We want to speak with corporate tax professionals with experience working on the corporate tax affairs of international businesses for a role with our client, a global financial services business. This position will be a mixture of compliance and advisory work across the businesses EMEA region.Key points of focus:

  • Working to advise internal stakeholders about tax implications of decisions.
  • Participating in internal meetings in order to share and develop business statergy and best practice.
  • Assist in liaison with tax authorities to handle disputes.
  • Monitor tax legislation, regulations and rulings and interpreting and communicating to ensure that the implications of tax laws are known and the company meets its obligations
  • Provide high level advice, guidance and information on taxation matters to support decision making and improve understanding.
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including tax authorities and internal and external auditors, to ensure service delivery meets expectations.
  • Undertaking all UK corporation tax compliance and quarterly reporting for the above entities
What we want to see:
  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA)
  • Perhaps ATT / CTA qualified (Study support provided)
  • Top 20 firm experience
  • Some knowledge of international tax legislation and issues
