Job Description

Senior SEO Manager Leeds£40k to £45k pa Hybrid role We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Senior SEO Manager to work for a performance led digital marketing agency in Leeds.The business has a committed approach , straightforward communication and a restless desire to do the right thing for their customers .Job Purpose :The Senior SEO Manager is responsible for setting, delivering, measuring and adapting clients SEO strategies on an on-going basis.The Senior SEO Manager will also be responsible in shaping and building department processes/tools to ensure this agency remains a best in-class organic search service.An expert in all aspects of organic search, the Senior SEO Manager will seek to continually develop their own knowledge and help nurture the skill-sets of the wider Search team.Key Tasks:

  • Lead the development, analysis and performance of the clients SEO campaigns.
  • Work closely with the wider search team on SEO best practice and new approaches taking into consideration the latest Google algorithm updates.
  • Deliver advanced Technical SEO consultancy.
  • Implement robust off-site strategies to help support and guide the Content, Outreach and PR team.
  • Help lead, run, review and maintain link building activities/processes across all client campaigns. Work closely with the SEO and Content Marketing teams on a strategic level to develop client proposals/concepts to ensure the various off-site activitiesachieve the maximum organic impact and hit the KPI requirements.
  • Be responsible for ensuring robust HTML, Site Architecture and Javascript SEO.
  • Use various tool-sets to a high level such as: Majestic, Ahrefs, SEMrush, SEOMonitor, Excel, Google Sheets and Google Analytics.
  • Provide strategic client and technical SEO support. Clear and concise client communication is a must.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the products, competition, industry, marketing goals, KPIs and objectives for all client campaigns.
Key Skills and Behaviours:
  • Experience of SEO Management
  • A passion for, and a full and broad knowledge of, effective digital marketing.
  • Credible, confident and articulate, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to meet tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure - and ask for help when required.
