Senior R&D ChemistUp to £40,000Leeds Are you an experienced R&D Chemist, looking to advance in your career whilst working for an established manufacturer who are a leader in their field Simpson Judge are currently recruiting for an R&D Chemist to be a part of a team who focus on developinginnovative technologies for applications in the personal care, cosmetics and chemical industries.The purpose of this role is to be a part of the Technical team in providing an excellent technical service to customers, working on new and existing product developments as well as managing raw materials.Key Responsibilities:Develop / improve products to meet a performance briefMentor junior members of the team and train where necessaryCreate and maintain customer facing documents, spreadsheets and databasesEnsure all products are compliant to latest regulationsConduct relevant testing on productsDrive continuous improvement across the business to improve products and technical processesKey Requirements:Experience within an R&D capacityA degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science or similarComputer literate with experience of MS packagesOpen to candidates outside of the personal care industry e.g. coatings, chemicals, home care etc.
