Badenoch & Clark have been commissioned to partner with a national housing association to recruit a Senior Project Manager - Fire and Surveying on a permanent basis to be home based with national travel. Job purpose*To deliver surveying duties to the wider business areas. Whilst ensuring that Health and Safety and other legislative requirements are met.Core duties & accountabilities*As Senior Project Manager focused on fire safety and surveying you will be expected to deliver surveying duties across the wider business areas. You will meet your objectives whilst ensuring that Health and Safety and other legislative requirements are met.*Through your knowledge, experience and collaborative working style you will add great value that will not only ensure statutory and compliance requirements are met; but also show a commercial and innovative approach.*You will have experience of specification writing for external facades, project management experience and technical knowledge of housing stock and the decent homes standard. Experience of managing fire safety in the social housing sector with a high-rise buildingportfolio would be a significant advantage.*Youll be able to use your own initiative and adopt a proactive and innovative approach to resolving issues. Ideally you will also have experience of developing and delivering auditing and developing audits. As an expert in your chosen field youll have in-depthknowledge of key legislative requirements.*Youll be a skilled communicator that is able to influence in a positive way and knows the importance of stakeholder buy-in and ensuring that any change to policy or procedure are communicated effectively to the right people at the right time.Candidate requirements*It is a pre-requisite that you have Substantial experience of fire safety compliance in the property sector coupled with experience in design (use of AutoCAD) for feasibility reports.*This is a critical role and as such we would expect the successful candidate to ideally have a qualification to reflect their expert status such as MRICS/CIOB (or equivalent). *Experience in design (use of AutoCAD) is required for feasibility reports. *Must have specification writing for external facades and project management. *The post holder requires technical knowledge of housing stock and the decent homes standard. *Experience of managing fire safety in the social housing sector, and with a high-rise building portfolio will be a significant advantage. *Able to use your own initiative and adopt a proactive and innovative approach to resolving issues.
