Job Description

* Contact Centre* Unified Comms* CiscoThe Senior Project Manager manages a portfolio of client and internal projects. Senior Project Manager responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time, within budget and within scope. The Senior Project Manager will oversee allaspects of projects; set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarise progress of projects; prepare reports for the client and for the management regarding the status of their projects.The Senior Project Manager will establish priorities across a portfolio of projects and allocate resources accordingly.The Senior Project Manager will work directly with clients and partners to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. He or she will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are met and will assign resourcesas needed to fulfil client needs.The Senior Project Manager will act as an escalation point for other Project Managers; he or she will train, coach and mentor Project Managers. The Senior Project Manager will stand in for the Head of Professional Services when necessary, running daily stand-upsand attending Senior Management Team meetingsFor a successful candidate, there is a further opportunity to promote to Head the PMO department of the business.Key Responsibilities* Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility* Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress* Manage and allocate project resources across the project portfolio* Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects* Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs as required* Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques* Report and escalate to management as needed* Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders* Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget* Ensure timely invoicing of payment milestones* Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization* Identify and develop trusted adviser relationship with project and program stakeholders and sponsors* Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise the project and program team* Establish practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization* Act as a champion of learning, process improvement, and project management within the company* Perform other related duties as assigned
