Job Description

Working with our customers, we are leading the way in the delivery of patient-centred, connected, digitally enabled health and care services.Your new roleIn this new role, you will work closely with the wider Product Design team to build the end experiences for our Pharmacy customers. You will form part of a collaborative team of Product Designers and align user centred design activities across multiple productdevelopment teams. Working closely with your peers, you will work to promote a user centred and evidence based approach to product and service design. You will partner with Product Managers, Business Owners as well as other Stakeholders to help shape seamlessexperiences within our pharmacy products.Key to your role will be:

  • To partner with Product Managers & Owners to align UX best practice into agile processes.
  • Gain the holistic view of the Pharmacy experience in order to design solutions, which respond to end user needs.
  • Help shape UX Research needs within projects and deliver testing materials to UX Researchers.
  • Actively collaborate and engage stakeholders contributing to requirements capture and promoting evidence based insights to inform roadmaps and use cases/user stories.
  • Facilitate Design Thinking workshops to ideate around user needs.
  • Contribute to the creation of personas.
  • Work across the wider business to ensure all aspects of regulation and clinical safety are considerations in your design solutions.
  • Help shape the approach and deliverables on projects you are assigned to.
  • Develop user journeys, task flows, storyboards, wireframes and prototypes in order to communicate interaction and design ideas, as well as validate assumptions and solutions with users, business and technology.
The team youll joinYoull be joining at a really exciting time in a growing team, working closely with a cross-functional team of Product Managers, Product Designers, User Researchers and Engineers.Please note that EMIS has now transitioned to being a predominantly homeworking business, but you should be prepared to travel to our collaboration hubs as required.What youll bringWe want to make sure you are set for success, so here are some of the skills and experiences were keen to see:
  • Experience mapping out end to end customer/user journeys
  • Experience of Service Design
  • Experience of large scale product redesigns
  • Experience with influencing activities to focus on user need before solution generation
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Expert user of Figma, InVision and other design tools.
  • 4+ years UX/Product Design experience
  • Experience within the Healthcare Sector desirable.
