Penguin Recruitment has partnered with a national Environmental Consultancy to assist in the hiring of a Planning Consultant for their office in Leeds.Join a team (with plans to double its size in 12 months!) that provides professional services in four main areas: Planning, Landscape, EIA and Graphics. Our client forms part of a larger group of companies, meaning you will benefit from a large multidisciplinarysreach and resources, but retain the brand, culture and company values of the smaller company.From a planning perspective, projects can be small-scale applications, major development proposals or even nationally significant infrastructure projects! These projects can fall into multiple areas such as energy, minerals, waste, infrastructure, residential,commercial property, rural development and tourism.In this role, the successful candidate will help prepare and submit planning applications for a wide variety of sectors including renewable energy (onshore wind and solar), minerals & waste, Infrastructure, and built development (residential and commercialproperty).To be considered, you will hold relevant qualifications and experience at Senior Planner or Principal Planner level. MRTPI status is desirable though not essential. You will ideally have experience of renewables/waste but candidates holding solid experiencein other above-listed areas are also welcome to apply.
