Job Description

Senior Lighting DesignerNorth Yorkshire£30,000 to £40,000 (negotiable, dependant on experience)My client is an award winning lighting design consultancy based in North Yorkshire. They are an independent, multi-disciplinary design team. Working to create and deliver lighting schemes and lighting controls for high end residential, hospitality, listed buildings & heritage projects. An opportunity has come up for a Senior Lighting Designer to join their team.Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years practical experience of creating lighting schemes for Exterior, Interior or commercial lighting projects (portfolio will be required)
  • Capability of high level concept design
  • Capable of communicating effectively with customers and colleagues
  • High level of attention to detail
  • DIALux / Photoshop / AutoCAD / Sketch-up
  • Background & knowledge of architecture and lighting design
  • Enthusiastic and wanting to progress in their career
  • In-depth technical understanding of luminaires currently available from leading manufacturers globally.
    • Day-to-Day Tasks:
  • Creating impressive Lighting Schemes
  • Supporting a team of designers
  • Regular team meetings
  • Creation of impeccable documentation
