Senior Project Manager - 6 Months Fixed Term£55,000 - £64,000 per annum (pro rata) plus package (see below)Leeds (remote for the first 6 month, 1-2 days in the office per week thereafter)What am I looking forA senior PM to work closely to business; someone with an agile background (this is specifically around the behaviour and methods, rather than the project being an agile project) - To be successful in this role, you would need to get close to stakeholders, as frequently as every day.What would you be working onWell, youd be working on two large programmes; The first is a re-hosting piece where your experience in working with third parties, specifically to achieve the outsourcing to a cloud provider (AWS) would be utilised (your experience of this should be clear on your CV); the second, also working with third parties, to implement new offerings with a third party.Responsibilities: * Planning the projects and proactively monitoring its progress, resolving risks, issues and initiating appropriate corrective action* Managing the projects or programmes budget, monitoring expenditure and costs against delivered and realised benefits as the programme progresses* Ensuring the delivery of new products or services from projects is to the appropriate level of quality, on time and within budget, in accordance with the programme plan and programme governance arrangements* Facilitate and support project appointments, and provide on-going guidance to project managers and subject matter experts* Ensuring effective quality assurance and the overall integrity of the programmePromote ITs capabilities, challenges and strategies to the business regarding the Projects* Monitor the level of customer satisfaction and focus on continuous improvement of project delivery* Review and help refine the existing programme strategy, communicate, and gain leadership team endorsement from an IT Perspective* Establish stakeholder engagement, identify key players / influencers, and build the relationships required to support successful programme implementation* Inspire the adoption of Agile practices in the business by demonstrating the value through programme and project delivery.Qualifications required: * Bachelor degree in an IT discipline or equivalent experience* Programme management/Project management qualifications (e.g. MSP / Prince2)* Agile qualifications (desirable but not essential)* Experience in managing the delivery of Infrastructure, ERP and software development projects* Prior experience in leading complex IT projects* Proven experience of running agile projects under a programme* Strong understanding of software delivery (including interfaces and testing)* Strong understanding and experience of technological change and Business Change (operational efficiency improvement, and process improvement)* Demonstrates exceptional stakeholder management and matrix leadership skills* A technical background is requiredBenefits:* 5% Pension, which the company matches* 5% Discretionary Bonus (if the person stays beyond 6 months TBC)* £5,200 Car Allowance per annum pro rata* 2x Salary Life Cover* PMI Single Person* 25 days Holiday per annum pro rataWere working to a timeline on this, dont delay, apply now!Certes Computing (and all of its subsidiary companies) is committed to promoting equality and diversity in its business operations.
