Job Description

Senior HR Business Partner opportunity available on a full-time permanent basis working for a leading organisation based in Leeds, West Yorkshire.This role offers a highly competitive salary package plus hybrid / home working up to three days per week andit also offers an excellent pension scheme, generous holiday entitlement and career development opportunities.Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • To support the delivery of the Group People Strategy and the strategic vision of the organisation from a people perspective
  • Deliver an exemplar HR Business Partner service by engaging with and supporting the Business Planning process, using workforce information, performance data and targeted interventions to create solutions
  • Creative in approach to providing innovative solutions to support managers with workforce (talent and succession) planning and people management activity
  • Promote the vision for HR by role modelling positive personal and team working attributes and taking accountability for ensuring the HR Operating Model is embedded successfully
  • Act as a critical friend and trusted partner to senior leaders, providing advice, guidance and thought leadership as required
  • Coaching and mentoring of line managers
  • Design and deliver high impact solutions that meet the needs of the Group
  • Cultivate a positive partnership approach with the recognised trade union partners
  • Participate in relevant projects, leading and championing the organisation aspiration to be a best in class organisation and locally an employer of choice
  • Lead on HR projects: change management, restructures, TUPE, Group- wide transformation programmes to ensure effective implementation of and compliance with all policies and procedures
  • To lead on and provide case management support on Employment Tribunal, serious and complex employee relations cases, liaising with legal advisors.
  • Develop, monitor and maintain key performance indicators and ensure that appropriate workforce information is used to drive performance improvement strategies.
  • Take responsibility for continuous improvement of the service through redesigning of processes, maximising the use of IT and improving customer experience
