Job Description

Do you want fulfilling and rewarding work with a Charity who positively change lives We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior HR Advisor join our team. Within this role you will be responsible for the Line management of the HR Advisory team and ensuringvalue-add work is completed in line with key stakeholder requirements and the Charitys objectives and strategic aimsThis role will give you the opportunity to make a real impact across the charity. You will not only be managing a small advisory team, but you will also be actively involved in developing comprehensive policies, guidance, and supportive tools for colleagues/ managers. The successful applicant will have excellent employee law legislation, leadership, relationship building and negotiation and influencing skills.Where youll work:This will be a hybrid role, working both from home and our Leeds office, with a current requirement to be in the office a minimum of 2 days per month.What youll be doing:

  • Manage a small advisory team, ensuring consistency of advice, broad spread of work, ongoing development of policies and processes and value add to the organisation
  • Develop comprehensive policy, guidance and supportive tools for colleagues / managers in relation to disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence management, performance capability and other employee relations matters, referencing best practice where appropriateand ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation
  • Regularly reviews documentation to ensure all documents and templates are kept up to date and in line with current legislation
  • Ensure that people principles, policies, practices and procedures are clearly communicated and understood within the organisation
  • Build effective and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external to the Directorate and the Charity
  • Be the key escalation point for the team with day-to-day queries and concerns
  • Drive quality standard in relation to consistency of ER advice
  • Escalate any high risk or urgent concerns to the relevant HR Business Partner
  • Support HRBPs on specific people projects/goals that deliver tangible improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of the Directorate

Salary:Starting between £38,000 up to £41,000 depending on experience.The rewards:
