A new opportunity has become available for an experienced Estimator to the Geotechnical/Ground Engineering Division within a top tier Construction firm in Leeds. The successful applicant will provide quantity surveying and estimating expertise for major infrastructure projects across Northern England.Applicants must demonstrate an engineering academic background, having a degree in quantity surveying or civil engineering. Preferably candidates would have professional qualifications and/ or membership of the RICS or similar relevant Chartered Institute.Communication skills are vital as you will be working closely with colleagues of various disciplines and liaising with all external and internal stakeholders. Among other things you will also assist in the preparation of activity schedules, bills of quantities, the presentation of tender and contract documentation, attend interviews, and carry out tender analysis and comparisons through to preparing the recommendation report.Knowledge of, and experience, in administering high value, earthworks and brownfield remediation project work packages/ contracts utilising forms of contract such as NEC3 is vital.The position offers a competitive salary as well as an excellent variety of benefits, discretionary bonus, long term service awards and more.If you are interested in this role please do not hesitate to contact Matt Thompson on or call .
