One of the regions younger practices, this organisation has been developing rapidly on the back of their Directors strong relationships with several busy clients in different sectors while also capitalising on their unique expertise.Presently engaged on projects including retail food and non-food distribution centres, high end, "build to rent" buildings and an increasing amount of commercial developments, they have their eggs spread between a number of baskets giving a high degree of stability despite the turbulence of the current times.Your role will be to provide technical input and design solutions to a number of projects in the sectors mentioned in this client facing role.The build to rent projects are a far cry from the traditional "plasterboard palaces" due to the larger amount of space being given to community amenities such as cinema rooms, proper gyms (rather than a token gesture broom cupboard), DIY and cycle maintenance areas plus office and retail space.In short, they can offer you interesting schemes, a big step up from a career point of view while being recognised as being towards the top end of the scale with the salaries that they offer.The package with this role includes a salary to c£45000 (and flexibility to go higher if you can prove delivery and bring clients with you), a company car or allowance, health insurance and a personal performance related bonus to 10% of salary.Being Chartered isnt essential, but it is crucial that you have experience of electrical building services design and managing the process.
