Job Description

You will be responsible for attracting candidates and matching them to temporary, short term, long term and permanent positions with clients. You will business develop and network with new and existing client schools, Partnerships and Academy Trusts, Pyramids and Cluster groups establishing and building relationships in order to gain a better understanding of their recruitment needs and general requirements whilst promoting our products and services. You will work with schools to help establish stronger community links having a positive effect on pupil progression. You will attract and retain candidates, interview them and carry out background checks in line with our comprehensive vetting procedures and finally matching them to our clients. You will also provide advice to both clients and candidates on salary levels, training requirements, career opportunities, sponsorships, current market conditions and our recruitment and consultancy services.

  1. JOB DUTIES:
  1. Establishing & maintaining client relationships.
  1. Liaising with new and existing clients on a daily/weekly basis via telephone to establish key decision makers, school policies, procedures and ethos. To determine current recruitment procedures for short term, long term and permanent recruitment and to successfully promote our products and services.

  3. Working with new and existing clients to creating a bespoke and holistic service suitable to each and individual clients need.
  4. Implementing agreed business services and delivering these services over and above client expectations increasing loyalty and client confidence.
  5. Providing out of office/on call services in case of emergencies.
  1. Business Developing
    1. Identifying target clients.
    2. Daily sales calls to new and existing clients promoting products and services.
    3. Weekly visits to new and existing clients promoting products and services.
    4. Identifying and establishing business opportunities.
    5. Establishing links with Academy Trusts, Partnership Trusts and Clusters/Pyramids.
    6. Liaising and building relationships with Business Managers, Head of Departments, Head teachers, Deputy Heads and Chairman of Clusters to promote our brand, services and available candidates.
    7. Negotiating contracts.
    8. Tracking competitor activity
  1. Candidate Attraction & Retention
  1. Making best use of job boards, company website and social media for advertising job vacancies and marketing our The Education Network brand.
  2. Making arrangements for advertisement of vacancies- online and paper.
  3. Responding to applications in ample time.
  4. Promoting recommend a friend’ and recommend a teacher’ scheme to schools and candidates.
  5. Arranging ITT Meetings with ITT students within schools.
  6. Attending registration open days off site when necessary.
  7. Attending PGCE open days at Colleges /Universities.
  8. Maintaining daily /weekly contact with candidates regarding availability, changes in legislation, market conditions and employment opportunities.
  9. Establishing changes in candidate requirements and updating CV’s.
  10. Providing constructive feedback at the end of each assignment.
  11. Providing support and advice to candidates and identifying training requirements.
  12. Providing out of office/on call services in case of emergencies.
  1. Search & Selection
    1. Searching CV libraries, the national database and advertising for suitably qualified and experienced candidates for long term and permanent positions.
    2. Actively seeking referrals.
    3. Pre interviewing and confirming registration.
    4. Sending suitable profiles and CVs to clients with professional recommendations and quality references.
    5. Interviewing, vetting and short listing suitable candidates.
    6. Setting up interviews between candidates and clients.
    7. Providing constructive feedback to both schools and candidates following interviews.
    8. Maintaining regular contact with candidates and clients throughout assignments.
    9. Dealing with an enquiries, concerns or problems that may arise in a professional and timely manner.
  1. Vetting & Compliance
    1. Adhering to all compliance procedures set by APSco Compliance +.
    2. Pre interviewing candidates to assess suitability for registration.
    3. Face to face interviews with candidates to further assess suitability for registration.
    4. Ensuring all paperwork is present and complete before offering work.
