Job Description

.Net Developer sought to work on a wide variety of projects spanning small short term projects to much larger projects requiring more time and investment. Working with a business that is keen on remaining cutting edge and leveraging Microservices to movetheir systems to the cloud.Client DetailsA world leader in asset management, who specialise in utilising innovative technology to provide a range of value added services and end to end solutions. A continued investment in their proprietary technology allows them to stay a step ahead of their competitionand provide a best in class service to their clients and partners.DescriptionThe successful candidate for this role will be expected to;

  • Write code in C#.NET and unit test to specification
  • Take part in the application design process to ensure each component is well written and scaleable
  • Analyse, document and propose new solutions by mapping business requirements
  • Work well with not just other developers but also analysts, testers, architects and delivery managers
  • Participate in daily stand ups
  • Get involved in the estimation of work and definition of backlog items
  • Guide and mentor other developers, sharing your experience and live the learning culture
  • Work with the DevOps team to ensure continuous deployment processes are achieved
  • Perform triage of defects and track them through technical resolution
  • Own the code management in the team and ensure effective use of code management systems
ProfileThe successful candidate will;
  • Have a Strong background programming in C#.Net
  • Show experience writing unit tests and mocking
  • Have strong object-oriented programming skills and understanding SOLID principles
  • Be flexible to change with the ability to adapt to fast changing priorities
  • Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
