You will also have the opportunity to work alongside, and support, the wider national corporate team.Your main responsibilities will primarily involve assisting on a wide range of complex and high profile corporate transactions and will include but not be limited to:

• conducting due diligence;
• drafting and negotiating documents and reports;
• reviewing and collating documentation;
• communicating effectively and confidently with national and international clients, external solicitors and other third; parties (both in writing and by telephone);
• acting as a co-ordinator between other departments within Shoosmiths; and
• assisting legal advisors in the department with various corporate law matters and administrative tasks.

ProfileSenior Corporate Paralegal -

• We are ideally looking for a candidate with a minimum of 1 year plus corporate paralegal experience.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with internal and external clients
• Excellent attention to detail taken with all correspondence and documentation
• Flexible according to client needs, with the ability to adapt to change, new practices and remain calm under pressure
• Able to integrate within a team as well as working on your own initiative
• Prepared to get involved in business development, including the attendance at networking and other marketing events.
