Job Description

A formidable Yorkshire based employer has retained GAP to help them appoint 2 critical Senior Sox Compliance Analyst to undertake a contract which is likely to go permanent after its 6 - 9 month initial period. This role will be responsible for supportingthe implementation of SOx compliance framework across multiple sites, with specific responsibility for the review of commercial contracts to ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards. Other key objectives of this role are;

  • Review of legal contracts to ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards including liaison with commercial business and finance teams as required
  • Support the existing Finance team with other additional SOx procedures as the business embark on a huge change journey.
  • Support the Compliance Manager with other ad-hoc procedures to ensure smooth implementation ahead of the external audit
Ideally the role of Senior Compliance Analyst is seeking a qualified ACA |ACCA | | CIMA accountant with post qualified experience and strong technical accounting skills. You will have a working knowledge of IFRS 15 which although desirable is not a pre requisiteof the role. Experience of operating and testing internal financial controls with some SOx experience is preferred. A confident individual with good interpersonal skills, capable of influence stakeholders at all levels, whilst delivering through others andcommunicating clearly and effectively is a given within this type of role, as is the ability to hit the ground running and make an impact!If you gain comfort in working in a fast paced and dynamic environment, then look no further.
