Job Description

My Client, a leading UK Construction business, is looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst.This newly created position will strengthen the existing Team, who are gearing up to help the business achieve its ambitious 3 year strategic plan.In simple terms, the purpose of the role is to enhance the use of their data. Transfer it to the new platform and discover new insights to drive sales and profitability.The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:-

  • A robust understanding of data warehousing principles
  • Substantial experience of using Power BI (Qlik, Tableau, LBI also helpful)
  • Substantial experience of using Azure Analysis Services
  • ETL - ELT expertise
Experience of using InspHire, Microsoft Dynamics, GP Microsoft Finance will be very useful.In addition, theperson part of this role is perhaps more important.The successful candidate must possess outstanding commercial acumen.As well as having an exceptional general understanding of business, finance, sales and profitability, you must be able to learn their business quickly and understand their business completely, to be able to identify new and/or improved revenue and profitopportunities.Based at their office just south of Leeds, they currently operate a WFH policy on Monday and Friday. In the office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.On offer to the successful candidate is a salary of £55k to £65k DOE, bonus potential, private medical and a generous pension.
