Ranked in the top five HealthTech organisations in the UK, we are committed to developing the next generation of healthcare technology that will trulymake a difference.Responsible for providing essential technology to 10,000 healthcare organisations across all major UK health sectors, we are looking for a Senior Bid Manager to join our innovative bids team at EMIS.You will be responsible for managing the complete bid cycle process from identifying opportunities to submission and contract award in this Senior Bid Manager job. Working independently and collectively, you will request and organise operation, finance anddevelopment resources to support the solution creation, demonstration, bid and contracting process.As a confident Bid Manager, you will work collaboratively across several key business areas within EMIS, so previous experience in presenting and creating excellent internal and external business relationships is essential to this role. This is a fantasticopportunity to transform your career as a Senior Bid Manager at EMIS as you will work with autonomy in a fast-paced environment to successfully co-ordinate and win high volume complex submissions.This Senior Bid Manager job will be predominantly working from home; however, our bids team meet for collaborative meetings in the Leeds office so some travel is required.What youll doAs a Senior Bid Manager, your key duties will include:

  • Responsible for the strategy, structure and content for individual complex tender submissions.
  • Work to tight deadlines in fast paced, complex bidding environment
  • Presenting to senior stakeholders about opportunity selections, bid team composition and win strategy development.
  • Working closely and mentoring the Bid Co-ordinator.
  • Working with high-value and high-volume submissions independently and collaboratively to ensure quality and win rates are met.
  • Develop and maintain relationships within our extensive customer network.
  • Take responsibility for the end to end bid process
  • Educating the wider teams on industry best practice
  • Bid pipeline management
Who youll beWe want to make sure youre set for success so the key skills were looking for in the role are below. We know not everyone ticks all the boxes and well provide training on some of the areas if youre the right person for the role.
  • A genuine passion for bidding and previous experience as a Bid Manager or Senior Bid Manager.
  • Ability to influence at all levels ensuring management of tight timescales with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to interpret tender scoring to maximise success rate.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Articulate with excellent written communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and teamwork capabilities.
  • Excellent IT skills, including MS-Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Desire to achieve APMP accreditation.
