Area Sales Manager - NorthThe Role: The successful Area Sales Manager will be calling on end users in the Northern Regions of England, with the majority of your time spent with the industrial sector; production and process companies. As an Area Sales Manager youwill be selling a range of oil-free blowers, compressors, and vacuum pumps which are used in process manufacturing. A key focus for them is water treatment & utilities, pulp & paper, and flour mills. The Area Sales Manager will be speaking to project and maintenanceengineers, procurement departments and directors, this new role is focused towards account development and management; you will inherit some key accounts to manage. Full company and superb product training is standard here for the new Area Sales Manager.The Company: Established over a century ago and with a highly experienced management team in place, this niche British manufacturer is now expanding their sales team. They seek a new Area Sales Manager to sell their industrial vacuum andblower systems to customers in the North of England. They have consolidated their position in the pandemic and grew massively last year due to a major uplift in orders and sales across the UK.For this Area Sales Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
  • Field sales experience in industrial or engineering markets
  • You will come from a technical sales background - high value capital sales
  • Tenacious and hungry salespeople with a hardworking approach
  • You will ideally have an Engineering academic background
  • Understand the sales process with multiple decision making stakeholders
  • Be comfortable working away from home a few nights per month
  • Full & clean driving license
