Job Description

A leading automotive repair company seeks an ambitious Sales Ledger Assistant/Credit Controller to join its growing Finance team in LeedsExperience in Credit control is essential, at least 6 months experience in a finance role is essential and experience in Sales ledger is preferred.Responsibilities:

  • Credit Control and Debt Chasing for a number of accounts (both internal and external customers)
  • Dealing with invoice queries and sorting any issues
  • Checking and posting invoices to ledgers daily (using automated software systems)
  • Manual production of invoices in the event of software issues
  • Assisting the Financial Controller/Accounts Assistant in month end close where required
  • Liaising with technicians on queries
  • Allocating and posting daily cash receipts
  • Collecting payments over the phone
  • Preparing Technician Revenue reports weekly and/or at the request of management
  • Preparing Franchisee Revenue reports for major accounts weekly
You must be able to produce and maintain excel spreadsheets and be IT literate.This role will offer a hybrid working pattern, Study support for AAT/ACCA/CIMA and some other great benefits.Job type: Permanent, Full-timeSalary: Up to £23,000
