Job Description

Sales Engineer - Power Generation£45,000 + Commission + BenefitsAlecto Recruitment are currently working with a Growing company within the Power Industry, who are looking to expand their team in the coming months, with the addition of multiple Sales Engineers with Technical Experience.We are currently looking for a confident salesperson with Technical Engineering knowledge.Job BriefTo support business development within the company, by providing expert advice and showing a drive to push sales using technical expertise.During this role, you will be required to;

  • Create and submit quotations
  • Produce tender documents and present them to clients.
  • Be able to go out and provide advice to customers.
  • Attend internal sales meetings and report performance.
  • Be able to communicate clearly with customers and deal with customer feedback.
  • Spend a reasonable amount of time travelling around the UK.
    • Requirements
  • Ideally have a good understanding of diesel generators.
  • Proven experience within Heavy Engineering or similar industries.
  • Must be computer literate and be able to communicate clearly.
  • MUST hold a clean and valid driving licence, due to the field-based nature of the role.
    • The PersonThis role would suit an experienced salesperson who is able to self-motivate and manage. Ideally someone with a good customer service background, to build rapport with clients to increase customer retention and repeat business.LocationThis role will be covering the Northern Regions of the UK.
