Sales EngineerPerm role, £32k-£35k pa DOE, Company Car, Mon-FriLEEDSI am currently recruiting an experienced Sales Engineer to work for one of my clients, a busy Manufacturing and Engineering company based in Leeds.Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships, identifying new business opportunities and achieving growth within new and existing markets. Extensive travel throughout Yorkshire will be required withpotential to expand Nationwide as you develop the role.Day to day tasks of the role will include:-Promote the Company’s products and services to new and existing customers/accounts.-Develop and execute a sales strategy that drives revenue growth.-Identify, manage and develop new and existing accounts, building long term relationships with key customers.-Prepare quotations.-Work to and exceed KPI’s and targets set by the Company.-Maintain strong sales administration, including use of CRM on a daily basis.Key skills you will need include:-Must have a minimum of a HNC in Mechanical Engineering-A minimum of three years working in field sales.-Experience of the metal fabrication industry is essential-Knowledge of Powder Coating and Laser Cutting is desirable.-A working knowledge of CE1090.-Experience of CRM .-Proficiency in Solidworks would be beneficial.-An effective negotiator-The ability to build strong relationships via-Full clean driving licence-Experience in all MS Office packages and knowledge of Sage 50 would be desirable.Your core working hours will be Monday to Thursday from 8am to 4.30pm and Friday from 8am to 2.30pm, although some flexibility in this will be required.
