Job Description

Resource Manager / Workforce PlanningLegal SectorManchester or Leeds£60,000+ excellent benefitsThe LHH Recruitment Solutions Team has partnered with a leading international law firm (regional office locations: Manchester + Leeds) that is looking for a Resource Manager to join the newly established, Resource Management team. You will be responsiblefor the delivery of resourcing activities across a specific area with the aim of driving forward the strategic objectives of the organisation and practice group/s.What you will be doing:

  • Managing business needs and making sure they are delivered efficiently and profitably.
  • Workforce planning - optimising the allocation of work and deployment of staff.
  • Review and analyse business reports highlighting trends and any risks or exceptions.
  • Establish effective relationships across the business including key stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed plans for resourcing and document the requirements aligned to the needs of the business.
  • Be the people manager for team members including induction, coaching, career development advice, succession planning, and having responsibility for interim and year-end performance reviews.
  • Be familiar with all resource management systems.
  • Planning, coordinating and implementing resource management activities.
  • Production of management reporting.
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders
The Person
  • Experience working within a Resource Management - Workforce Planning role previously is preferred
  • Experience in project management.
  • Experience in stakeholder management.
  • Strong relationship management experience: the ability to interact with people at all levels of the firm with the confidence to influence and negotiate.
  • Portray a professional, customer-oriented image of resource management.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in both attitude and approach.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Experienced in managing and developing teams.
  • Strong organisation and time management skills.
  • Experience within a professional services background would be an advantage but you can come from any background.
This role will suit someone who is an experienced Resource Manager, Deployment Manager, Workforce Planning Manager, Resource Management Specialist, Resourcing Officer, Workforce Allocation Specialist, or Workforce Strategy Manager.Its a busy role with lots of potential for growth and opportunity. Youd have autonomy over the work allocation within and profitability within your stakeholder group, and theres project elements to get involved in outside of BAU.The firm offers hybrid working, looking for office attendance min. 2/3 days per week.Contact: Paige StephensT: E:
