Job Description

Reed recruitment are looking for Full time and part time Support Worker to work in a residential setting in Seacroft area. The service Supports adults with learning disabilities in a residential setting.Rate of pay - £9.40Hours – various hours and daysShift patterns – Various shift patterns to suit individualsDuties include:

  • Supporting individuals with a range of social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties
  • Assisting customers with day to day tasks such as meal preparation, personal care, activities and medication.
  • Ensuring the highest standards of support are provided
  • Work with other agencies such as Social Workers and Medical staff
  • Keep up to date with any laws and legislations
  • Promote sound care planning practices in the service
  • Complete all service users records and medications.
  • Liaise in a positive professional manner with external agencies.
  • Be proactive in supporting organisational policies/procedures, and report any concerns to supervisor/line manager.
  • Plan in conjunction with service users to achieve outcomes agreed in line with their plans.
  • Follow individual service user plans.
  • Contribute to defining and identifying service users’ needs in conjunction with CEO, Team Managers and Shift Leaders, and provide input to reviews as required.
  • Support service users in all areas of personal care, following individual guidelines.
  • Support service users in structured activities in line with service user plans.
    • Experience needed:
  • 6 month support work experience
