Job Description

SaccoMann have been instructed by a West Yorkshire-based commercial practice, who are on the lookout for a Residential Conveyancing Assistant to join their central Leeds offices. This opportunity would suit an individual with upwards of 12 months worthof experience from a Conveyancing background, including assisting or managing a caseload of sales and purchase files.The clientAs a full-service law firm with an excellent reputation across the country, our client are well-known for their collegiate team environment and excellent client service to their loyal clients. The conveyancing team in particular cover a broad range of mattersand have several testimonials from clients and colleagues alike labelling it as a genuinely great place to work. Having recently restructured the team, they are on a trajectory for a successful year in 2022.Benefits- Hybrid working (3 days from the office, 2 days from home)- Competitive salary- Exposure to quality work and working closely with experienced professionals- 33 days annual leave including Bank holidays- Regular social events- Genuine scope for progression and career development- Cycle to work schemeThe role- As Conveyancing Assistant, you will be providing full sale and purchase support to a senior conveyancing solicitor- Opening and closing files, applying for searches and utilising the Land Registry for file documents and registrations- Submitting relevant applications to HMRC, including SDLT forms- Liaising with clients and dealing with any correspondence from parties involved in each file- Conducting all administration on sale and purchase transactions- Utilising the firms case management system to ensure all transactions are logged and processed- Keeping clients up to date on their casesThe ideal candidate- You must have upwards of 12 months worth of experience within a Conveyancing environment and understand the sales and purchase transactional process to be considered for this role- Previous experience working in a busy conveyancing team and understands the demands that this presents- You must be a team player with the ability to build solid relationships with clients and colleagues alike- Ideally, you will be IT literate with case management experienceIf you are interested in this opportunity, or wish to apply to it, then please contact Helen Mauborgne at SaccoMann on or ask to speak to another member of the Chartered Legal Executive and Paralegal division.
