Are you an experienced Release Co-ordinator who would relish the opportunity to be part of a business currently undergoing a wide-scale technology refreshThe ASDA Service Technology team has an exciting opportunity for a Release Co-ordinator to work within the Change and Release Management function.As a Release Co-ordinator, you will be driving releases within the ASDA estate, following appropriate governance/standards, to ensure that deployments are robust and sufficiently validated. The successful candidate will report to the Change & Release Manager and be accountable for both BAU and Project releases.The successful candidate will report to the Change & Release Manager, with responsibilities including the communication of release updates to key stakeholder groups, including internal ASDA Technology teams and third party vendors, by keeping them informed at all stages of the release cycle as well as ensuring that all Releases adhere to the relevant standards and follow appropriate governance.This is an excellent opportunity to work within a growing Technology team, who can offer you a great working environment and flexible working, and an in-depth training plan to take you to the next level.The RoleAs a Release Co-ordinator, you will create, maintain and communicate release plans for ASDA Technology and Third Party applications; communicate the status of Releases to key stakeholder groups, through appropriate tooling, whilst looking for opportunities to continuously improve the mechanisms by which the information is distributed; build collaborative relationships and liaise with vendors and ASDA Business and Service teams to ensure that any release activity in Production is undertaken in accordance with the customers requirements and standard outage agreements; have a long-term view of key business activities and peak trading periods, ensuring that plans are in place to maintain operational stability during release windows; engage with the Environment Management team during build and deployment activity, ensuring that the correct code and configuration levels are maintained to facilitate the testing of applications, including governance of all deployments; continuous review of Technology Release Management processes to remove waste and drive agile ways of working to reduce costs; adhere toand champion the Change and Release Management processes, providing support for transformational change activities and demonstrating effective stakeholder engagement and finally, you will support the Change & Release Manager, demonstrating financial awareness, effective people engagement and adherence to corporate compliance framework.About You
