Registered ManagerAre you a successful manager looking for a role to take our social care services to the next levelA fantastic new opportunity has become available to work as a Registered Manager for our client, a charity dedicated to making sure Deaf people get the same sort of access as hearing people to healthcare and health information. They provide services directlyin British Sign Language (BSL) and work in partnership with the NHS and local authorities. 70% of their staff are Deaf, and almost all the staff in-services are fluent sign language users.Position: Registered ManagerSalary: £47,000£50,000 per annumLocation: LeedsHours: 9am-5pm, 37 hours per week, full timeBenefits: 25 days holiday per holiday year plus bank holidays (pro-rata), 2 well-being days (pro-rata), after 3 months auto auto-enrolled NOW pension scheme at prevailing rates, after successful completion of probation period (normally 6 months) eligibleto join Scottish widows pension employee contributes 5%, employer 6% , Eye care vouchers, 5 days paid study leave per year (CPD) (pro-rata), expenses policy which allows payments for items when working away from home, 2x salary life assurance scheme (deathin service) , fully funded BSL training and management development programmes, generous sick pay policy, equipment and furniture desk/ chair to work from home, flexible working including compressed hours (subject to meeting needs of the job role and business),Perkbox (including 25 flexible points every month), refer a friend £200 voucher for both the referee and referrer, remote working (current temporary option to use shared office space in London)About the role: As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management, development, compliance and expansion of our brand-new service, including the line management of the team, ensuring the delivery of high standards of care to clientsYou will create an environment that supports clients with their daily support needs and enables them to pursue their lives hobbies and interests.You will liaise with internal and external stakeholders, multi-disciplinary teams, clinical commissioning groups, social services, local statutory, voluntary, and community groups, and agencies.About you: The ideal person for this role will be a Registered Learning Disability Nurse or Mental Health Nurse or hold a professional qualification in a related field, you will also have experience in the following:Do you have experience of working with people with varying degrees of deafness, including culturally deafKnowledge and understanding of BSL and Deaf culture would highly desirableIf this sounds like a position you would be interested in, we would love to hear from you!Other roles you may have experience of could include: Director of Operations, Registered Manager, Healthcare Operations, Regional Registered Manager, Head of Care Management, Operational Leadership, Social care Manager, Support Manager, Operational ManagerAdult Social Care, Regional Registered Manager,
