Job Description

As a Receptionist/Administrator for our client, you will play a vital role as the first point of contact in the business, presenting a friendly and professional welcome as well as providing efficient admin skills.Receptionist / AdministratorLeeds, West Yorkshire, LS10 1SWPermanent, Full Time40 hours per week, flexible to be agreed with senior management£20,000 to £26,000. (Negotiable Depending on Experience) + Fantastic BenefitsOur client is a Leeds based company with over 35 years experience offering integrated survey, geophysics & engineering solutions. Their assessment, investigation and design service is delivered by a team of more than 60 qualified surveyors, geophysicistsand engineers.They are now looking to recruit a professional and friendly person with fantastic communication skills to provide Reception services and carry out administrative duties.In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Answering the phone, forwarding calls and taking messages.
  • Greeting visitors.
  • Preparing post.
  • Undertaking photocopying, scanning, printing, document and spreadsheet creation.
  • Filing and digitising files.
  • Processing new enquiries and keeping records up to date in Project Management software.
  • Processing documents for client document management systems.
  • Checking key data entries on completion of projects.
  • Organising, scheduling of meetings, travel arrangements and booking accommodation.
  • Assisting accounts with processing and matching Purchase orders and sales invoices.
  • Providing support to IT, HR, and Marketing departments.
  • Undertaking general administrative tasks and providing cover for leave.
About You:Our client is looking for someone with:
  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths to level 6 (grade B).
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office with good typing skills.
  • Working knowledge of CRM, document or project management software.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with customers, suppliers, and staff, in person or via phone and email.
  • Ability to manage priorities.
The following experience would also be desirable
  • Basic knowledge of Health and Safety.
  • Basic understanding of IS0 9001 & 14001 quality management systems.
