Job Description

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a market leading manufacturer in the recruitment of a Quality Engineer.This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking business, as they experience a period of growth.The Quality Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Leading quality related improvements across the site.
  • Support peers in the use and development of the inhouse quality system.
  • Ensure process controls are completed on time, in full across all manufacturing support functions.
  • Support the development of non-conformance systems and frameworks for both discussion and debate where the ERP system is concerned.
  • Swiftly investigate quality issues; support cross functional departments resolve the problems in a proactive manner.
  • Day to day maintenance of the QMS in accordance with AS9100, ISO9001 and UKAS requirements.
  • Support the business and key divisions ahead of audits; ensure all corrective actions are in place; supporting documentation and appropriate training if required is given.
  • Comply with Health and Safety on site.
  • Be the go-to for all quality, system related queries and enquiries offering a collaborative and approachable support to the wider business.
Elevation Recruitment Group are keen to speak with Quality Engineers’ that have the following skills and experience:
  • You will be educated to Degree standards, with hands-on experience in quality management systems and standards in particular ISO9001, AS9100 and UKAS.
  • Demonstrable skills in managing a well maintained QMS system; all documentation and procedures.
  • Examples of your organisation; proactive approach and problem solving / analytical approach and how this supported the wider business with things such as reduction in the cost of quality.
  • Skilled auditor training with knowledge of manufacturing testing and associated standards.
  • Highly organised, methodical in your approach with excellent communication skills.
