Job Description

The Role - Overview To support the progression of Wealth Management Financial Planners advising on pensions (predominately) and investments and Specialists (offering our non-advised service) from their initial induction through to competent status.Assess the ongoing competence of existing Wealth Management colleagues through regular call and file monitoring. Identify and meet training needs and support colleague development as appropriate through a variety of methods including call and file monitoringprimarily but also coaching and training and workshop delivery.Establish the effective implementation of call and file standards to support productive and compliant Wealth Management colleagues and helping develop them to reach their full potential.Monitor adherence to the T&C scheme and report any issues and/or risks to the Senior T&C Manager.Ideal position for someone who looking for the next step in their career. Opportunities to develop alongside paid for exams into the world of financial advising. Key OutputsMonitoring and Record Keeping

  • Determine whether T&C call and file standards are met through feedback sessions.
  • Identify training requirements and/or risks.
  • Provide feedback to individuals as appropriate and support improvement through coaching, with a view to maintaining consistently positive outcomes from business audits.
  • Highlight areas where internal standards are not being met and investigate root cause and trends to enhance processes where necessary and drive standards forward.
  • Provide support to Managers where individuals are identified as needing to move into a more intense supervisory regime by working with the individuals to assist in the successful completion of the development plan.

  • Good knowledge of pension products and ideally Savings and Investments
  • Ability to use all Microsoft Office programmes to a competent level.
  • Good numerical and literacy skills
Desirable
  • Ability to analyse performance of a team or individual and implement appropriate changes and development plans to ensure business goals are achieved.
  • Experience of coaching people and providing feedback in a regulated environment preferably within a pension environment.
  • Experience of telephone-based financial advising
QualificationsGeneral education
  • Good numerical and literacy skills
Financial services qualificationsEssential
  • Level 4 financial services qualification (CII or equivalent) or willingness to study towards
Desirable
  • Recognised Pension and/or Savings and Investment qualifications (e.g. R02, R04, R08, SV1 etc.) or willingness to study towards
  • Experience of the At Retirement planning market
  • J07 Supervision in a regulated environment (or CeSRE) or a suitable training qualification
Reports to: Senior Quality Assurance Manager Location Leeds LS15 with hybrid working Package £30,000 - £32,000 + Generous Benefits Package Hours of work 37.5 per week (Hours of work will be flexible and dictated by the needs of the business, therefore it is expected that the successful applicant will work those hours necessary to successfully discharge the duties of the role).
