Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity with our global Technology/science client. They are a company that is recognised worldwide who are looking for a Quality Administrator to work within their Leeds office.Reporting to the Order Fulfilment Team Leader, the purpose of this role is to administer & fulfil required parts & repair orders from the customer, liaising with the customer & German colleagues to ensure all orders are kept in good order and fulfilled in required time frames, also making sure all required export documentation is complete and correct to avoid any delays on shipments to and from mainland Europe or any other overseas location.Main functions include:

  • Process repair & parts orders through our SAP order management system.
  • Keep detailed and accurate logs as to what stage orders are at so that customers can be fully informed upon request.
  • Engage with customers keeping them up to date with the progress of their orders & resolving any scheduling conflicts over phone and email.
  • Work with the Material & Logistics department to ensure timely shipping of all repair items back to German factories and to organise goods to be shipped back to our factory / the customer.
  • Draft & organise all required export and shipping documentation.
  • Expedite / clear items held up due to customs or checks through the supply chain
  • Support and adhere to all corporate values.
  • Experience & Technical Know-How
  • Excellent IT skills (Microsoft office)
  • Excellent communication skills are a must and the ability to deal effectively with a wide range of people
  • Organisational skills & attention to detail
  • Experience in order processing & administration
  • Preferred:
  • Previous experience with SAP or another automated order management system highly desirable
  • Experience with exports, imports and logistics
