Job Description

Job AdvertQA Environments Manager Would you like to work on one of the largest retail transformation projects in the world Joining the team now means you are right at the start of this exciting journey and will have the opportunity to shape our delivery, ways of working and tooling for ourfuture teams.As the team is set to grow dramatically, youll be required to define, build and operate a world class Environment Management capability suitable for a leading retail business at the same time building strong working relationship with teams across infrastructure,database and application development with a view to building and maintaining an end to end Environment Management approach and ensure its continuous improvementYour Role

  • Define and own the environmental strategy to support the programme.
  • Ownership of PRE-PROD environments - Main point of contact.
  • Define processes to support environmental usage in a CI/CD pipeline.
  • Identify bottlenecks & provision new environments if required.
  • Lead the adoption of a new Test Data management tool and its ongoing application.
  • Shape the environmental reporting and standards.
  • Maintain a library of Environment Management assets and promote reuse to reduce risks and costs
About You
  • Experienced Environmental Manager with a strong technical background.
  • An excellent stakeholder manager you will have demonstrable experience managing varied technical and business expectations and priorities.
  • Previous experience working commercially with IT partners and software vendors - on, near and offshore.
  • Experience of working with DevOps to help develop scripts and automation tools used to build, integrate, and deploy software release.
  • Proven practical experience of working in an Agile/DevOps environment
  • Understanding of the tools and technology landscape related to automation, code control, deployment, orchestration
