Your role will involve purchasing materials from UK and Internationally, managing the complete supplier cycle, ensuring orders aretracked and delivered on time.What to Expect:* Fantastic Team Culture* Career progression opportunities* Full-time / Permanent* Monday-Friday / 9am-5pm (35-hour week)* Starting Salary - £26,000 per annum* 25 days holiday + bank holidaysIf this sounds like an opportunity you would like to explore further, apply today!Specific Duties include:* Raising purchase orders with UK and International suppliers* Booking transport for imports into offsite warehouse* Import Clearance documentation to be prepared and transport booked* Ensuring all goods are booked into SAGE* Liaising with the warehouse with regards to import deliveries* Running MRP on SAGE and placing purchase orders with suppliers or building trailer loads* Updating Customer Services Team and UK Sales Team with confirmed estimated time of arrival (ETA) dates* Liaising with Business Development Managers for stock management and understanding supplier relationships* Ensuring all customs entries are completed by our supplier as per agreed deadlines.Experience:Ideally, we are looking for some previous import or purchasing experience however if you are educated to degree level, have some knowledge of purchasing and can display that you meet the rest of the skills required, your application will be considered.Skills, Abilities & Outlook:* A desire to progress a career in purchasing / supply chain* Confident communication skills, both verbally and in writing* Work with attention to detail and well organised* Enjoy being part of a team who work towards the same goal* Can remain calm under pressure and be able to multi-task* A desire to learn and progress your skills and knowledge* Good IT skills and working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeKey Appointments UK Ltd will assess your suitability for the role based on the information presented in your CV and application.
