Purchase Ledger Clerk/ Leeds / up to £27,500 / 12 month FTC / Office-based Ashley Kate Finance are thrilled to be working with an established client of ours who are construction and manufacturing experts who are searching for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to support them in maternity cover role on a 12 month fixed term basis.You will beprocessing 900-1000 invoices a month in a stand alone role at their Leeds site where you will be reporting into the Business Service Manager.Purchase Ledger role - About the role ·Full ownership of the accounts payable ledger. ·Full ownership of all accounts payable related balance sheet codes. ·Posting of relevant journals. ·Processing VAT ·Update cashbook and post all general payments to the relevant nominal codes. ·Bank reconciliations. ·Liaising with suppliers to maintain a good commercial relationship and up to date reconciliation of accounts. ·Preparation of payment runs. ·Setting up new supplier accounts, completing account application forms. ·Organisation and distribution of petty cash. ·Other ad hoc duties.Purchase Ledger role - About you: ·Minimum of two years experience in a similar role. ·You have the ability to work to tight deadlines, multi task, with strong analytical and problem solving skills. ·Knowledge of Sage 200 (Desirable) ·Your attention to detail is excellent, with an ability to understand how the detail fits into the wider picture. ·Microsoft Word and Excel proficient. ·Excellent communication skills.If you meet the requirements for the role, please apply & I will be in touch shortly.Email:
