Job Description

Job Title: Property Repairs ManagerLocation: Leeds, Harrogate, Otly, York, Skipton, Manchester, Sheffield, YorkshireSalary: £45,000 - £55,000paEvolve Recruitment are currently a Property Repairs Manager as part of our clients residential Portfolio Management team. Our client is a very well funded SME with huge growth over the past 5 years and a well executed strategy for further development inthe coming 10 years. The offices are newly refurbished in the centre of Leeds with excellent facilities. You will come from either a Social Housing, Shared Ownership, PRS or Affordable Rent background. The successful candidate will be responsible for:Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing a team of 3-5 direct resources that are responsible for executing the repairs and maintenance obligations on our portfolio of properties
  • The role holders primary responsibility will be to promote best in class procurement activities, supply chain selection and management processes, leading the implementation of appropriate policy and procedure to ensure compliance with objectives and relevantregulations.
  • Additionally, to lead efforts to minimise and address all snagging issues after completion and working immediately with builders to rectify these concerns.
  • While also managing multiple vendors who are completing repairs, maintenance, and other work.
  • Line management and performance management of the team. Responsible for setting targets, reviewing performance, coaching, and identifying staff development areas
  • Achieving financial objectives across the teams and ensuring contractual obligations are met
Key Skills:
  • You will hold a relevant professional qualification such as Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS).
  • You must have at least 5 years experience in a similar property management role, preferably in the construction/housebuilding/property or facilities management compliance sector.
  • A self-driven entrepreneurial spirit that embraces change and is comfortable making decisions and leading by example.
  • Senior level experience in procurement, repairs and maintenance within the housing industry
