Job Description

Brook Street Recruitment are working with an Estate Agent client based in Leeds who are looking to recruiting a Property Manager.Our client is looking for a full-time Property manager or a Trainee Property manager to create and manage investment portfolios for clients.Responsibilities will include crafting investment packages, managing client expectations, and transactions, and achieving clients overall investment objectives.Job duties:

  • Administer the property portfolio in order to maximize office income including the retention of properties and clients
  • Manage all property maintenance issues promptly and efficiently avoiding unnecessary delays.
  • Arrange and carry out property inspections including reporting findings to the Landlord and arranging remedial works and/or follow up visits if required.
  • Liaise with Landlords and negotiate with contractors for works which need to be completed.
  • Establishing acceptable risk levels for clients based on time frames, risk preferences, return expectations, and market conditions.
  • Chase overdue rental payments.
  • Maintaining new and existing client relationships, including informing clients of market conditions, updating them on investment research
  • Complete property management notes to track progress of maintenance issues.
  • Prospecting for new clients.
  • Handle any overflow business with regards to call handling, viewings, booking appointments
  • Handle deposit returns and any dispute negotiations.
  • Manage the property diary system to ensure that all reminders, gas safety inspections, management visits and tenancy renewals are completed on time.

  • Full UK clean driving license
  • Experienced at developing strong customer relationships
  • Occasional evening or weekend viewings
  • Local area knowledge
  • Good all-round IT skills
  • Clear and concise communication skills
  • Able to work with min supervision and use own initiative

Job Type: Full-time
  • Salary on offer: £23,000.00 Neg DOE
  • Hours: 08.45 to 17.45 Monday to Thursday with an hour for lunch; 08.45 to 17.15 Friday with 30 minutes for lunch. Saturday two on/two off (10.00 to 14.00). Once two Saturdays have been worked then a day off in lieu to be taken in the following fortnight.
  • Annually 22 days holiday plus bank holidays.
