Job Description

A hybrid role wearing the hats of Project Manager and Business Analyst in a process automation function, acting at the lynchpin between the end users, project sponsor, and third party development providers.Credible written and oral communicator able to write and deliver reports and presentations to stakeholders and lead project meetings and workshops.A strong influencer with considerable attention to detail and fluent in tracking, monitoring and reporting project progress.Key Activities

  • Running/attending daily stand ups of outstanding tasks
  • Managing the JIRA Board and Backlog with tasks, change requests and configuration items ensuring all tickets have enough detail for handover to developer at the appropriate time
  • Coordinating and facilitating workshops and meetings with key project resources as necessary
  • Ensuring all project documentation is sufficiently detailed, version controlled and up to date
  • Running weekly project update meetings with all key project resources including workstream updates against plan, RAID log review and actions updates
  • Completing weekly status reports and roadmaps for all relevant workstreams and project phases
  • Managing issues and risks as they arise and escalating to the Project Sponsor as necessary
  • Monitoring third party developer resource activities against work estimates and deliverables
  • Tracking third party resource monthly costs against budget/forecasts
  • Raising Change Requests for consideration to proceed to include impact assessment, work effort estimates and priority
  • Key Skills & Experience
  • To understand current manual processes and identify efficiencies through automation and workflow
  • Experience of working in iterative development cycles: requirements analysis and design, development planning, deployment, test and implementation
  • Experience of process automation, workflow, etc
  • A working understanding of the development lifecycle
  • Core Business Analysis skillset including requirements gathering and priority (MoSCoW), process mapping, change request impact assessments
  • Project Management capabilities (Project Plans, RAID Logs, Status Reports, resource planning and budgets)
  • Strong documentation and governance - recording meeting outputs, decision and actions, access in SharePoint for all necessary project and business resource (including ISO audit purposes)
  • Experience of the full project lifecycle including testing and mobilisation activities
  • Understanding of workflow processes (Bizagi an advantage)
  • Experience of working in an agile environment
  • Use of JIRA for managing outstanding activities (priorities and owners)
  • Managing third party relationships (Bizagi developer resource including costings, budgets and forecasts)
  • Use of Teams (TCC) and Skype (RS) for meetings and communications
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
