Ranked in the top five HealthTech organisations in the UK, we are committed to developing the next generation of healthcare technology that will trulymake a difference.What youll do:The Programme Manager will be responsible for the execution and delivery of our Scotland GPIT 2019 Programme, made up of several related delivery projects. The post holder will be able to demonstrate practical experience of a leadership role and/or managing/ matrix managing delivery teams.The Programme Manager will be accountable for planning, delivery and reporting, within agreed timescales and quality benchmarks within an agile framework.The ideal candidate will be pragmatic; delivery focused and able to communicate successfully with all levels of stakeholders including our customer. They will also seek to encourage, drive and implement good practice and the promotion of an effective teamdelivery. This is a senior project role within a dynamic and fast-paced department and business.On a daily basis youll be:

  • Managing and successfully delivering the Scotland GPIT 2019 Programme through to business as usual
  • Liaison with colleagues in other Departments to manage programme dependencies, such as Hosted Services, Training, Service Management, Support, Clinical, Product Management and Commercial.
  • Management and reporting on Programme status including Programme risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Ensure accurate resource allocation reporting across the programme, raising any risks or issues in a timely manner.
  • Strong working relationship management skills with internal and external customers.
  • Active participation in prioritisation of the allocated Programme of work.
  • Well-honed written and verbal communication skills to audiences of all levels.
  • Strategic working: the post holder will work with Product Management, Commercial and the PMO teams to align their Programme of work to the framework agreement, as required.
What youll bring:
  • Track record of managing complex programmes by multiple project teams within an agile Project and Programme Management methodology.
  • Programme or Portfolio Management qualifications such as MSP or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrable experience of Agile methodology and techniques.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience of commercial frameworks.
  • Experience of delivery to deadlines alongside 3rd parties.
  • Experience of working with offshore development teams.
  • Experience of using a variety Programme reporting and Project Life Cycle Management tools to monitor and report project progress.
  • Excellent planning, reporting and organisational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience of working with teams and stakeholders across distributed locations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • A good understanding of Matrix Management and successfully operating in this type of environment.
  • A good understanding of software development methods, technologies and concepts.
  • A record of delivery within an environment of tight deadlines and competing priorities.
  • An understanding of healthcare I.T. systems and the market they operate in.
  • Education to degree level or equivalent demonstrable experience.
