Page Personnel have partnered with a public sector, health research organisation, with an exciting opportunity to join their head office in Leeds City Centre.Due to expansion across the organisation, they are recruiting for a number of Programme Manager positions.Client DetailsPage Personnel have partnered with a public sector, health research organisation, with an exciting opportunity to join their head office in Leeds City Centre.Due to expansion across the organisation, they are recruiting for a number of Programme Manager positions.DescriptionThe purpose of the Programme Manager post is to:· To take day to day responsibility for managing schemes and programmes;· Support the Senior Programme Managers and Senior Management Team in their role of having oversight of the various funding streams;· Work alongside the other Programme Managers and Senior Programme Managers in the organisation to ensure delivery of external projects, the various funding schemes, programmes, workshops and conferences;· Work flexibly across the organisation managing a diverse work load of projects and programmes.Profile

  • An understanding of public sector and/or health research;
  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent) preferably in the biological, life or health sciences;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Good presentation skills;
  • Excellent time management skills;
  • Experience of working with or within the NHS or a research or education environment;
  • A proven track record in successfully planning projects.
Job Offer- Programme Manager - Band 6 - £35,392-£42,618- Regular pay rises as part of the Agenda for Change NHS scheme- Fixed term contract until April 2025- NHS pension scheme - 9.3% employer contribution- Annual leave entitlement 27 days plus Bank Holidays- Hybrid working- Leeds City Centre location- Full equipment provided- Paid sick leave- 37.5hr working week- NHS discounts
