Job Description

Union Industries is the market leading manufacturer of world renowned Industrial High-Speed Doors. Due to our continued expansion programme, we are looking to hire an enthusiastic individual to work in our Assembly Shop.This position will suit a multi-skilled person who has a natural ability to work well with their hands, are comfortable using power tools and producing quality products.The role will be wide and varied, covering a multitude of tasks to include but not limited to:
  • Door preparation including metal drilling, tapping, and assembling our full range of High Speed doors and other products within our manufacturing scope.
  • Assembly of High Speed doors in our Finishing Shop
  • Ability to read written instructions correctly to perform the require task.
  • Previous experience of mechanical assembly wiring (would be advantageous but not essential)
Working full-time (39 hours) and based at our Leeds factory, the successful person will have experience working with power tooling and be a team player with a positive, can-do attitude. Good communication and organisational skills are required together witha willingness to learn and develop.
