Were looking for a Product Owner (Mobile) to join our expanding Marketing Department. Based at our office in Colton, just outside of Leeds,As Product Owner (Mobile) you’ll lead the build and ongoing development of our first mobile app to enhance our mobile offering, support commercial performance (sales, collections, costs) and enhance customer experience and satisfaction through adoption of this channel. Alongside this you will drive the vision for our mobile strategy and ensure the alignment between all platforms.Duties and Responsibilities:Lead the build and launch of the minimum viable product (MVP)Lead the adoption plans for customers for the mobile app working with Marketing and IT teamsOwn the ongoing change roadmap and app development working with the external dev partnerBuild and own the analytical dashboards using appropriate digital tools to support web analytics and CRO -feeding results back into the development pipelineOwn end to end delivery of iterative product enhancements, encompassing all aspects of technical deployment including testing, colleague engagement and channel launch activitiesLead and drive the mobile strategy across the business ensuring customer requirements and developed across all website platformsSeek out customer, colleague and commercial insight to inform future product and journey designCollaborate with the Customer Journey, Commercial Proposition and wider eCommerce teams to ensure the connectivity platform supports and complements our marketing plansStakeholder engagement at all levels ensuring stakeholders are consulted, informed and aligned on future product enhancementsDrive the design & development of advanced merchandising and engaging content features to maintain customer interest & usageTake personal ownership of relevant KPIs and ensure that all developments are aligned to drive performance and have clear metrics, tracking mechanisms and targets. Highlight under-performance of metrics and develop plans in the roadmap and backlog in conjunction with the Marketing DirectorActively test and learn: Ensure existing capabilities are monitored and follow a plan for research and/or testing supporting continuous improvement to drive up ongoing performance across all mobile applications (app and website)Be the business expert and go to person on everything website/mobile related and be the voice of the customerUnderstand key UX and UI principles in everything that we buildKeep up to date and share digital trends across the Marketing Team and the business Understand and comply with FCA regulations in respect of the marketing of the financial services we offer.Understand and comply with GDPR regulations in respect of data security when working with customer data.Essential skills, knowledge and experience:Must have 1-2 years experience in building and developing mobile appsMust have 1-2 years experience in a broader website/mobile role Must be able to trailblaze and work on own initiativeExceptional business analysis skills, able to analyse and map complex business and systems processes and develop effective solutions to customer, business and technical challengesStrong stakeholder engagement, able to develop trusted working relationships across the business Strong communications and influencing skills, able to analyse and communicate technical concepts to create practical solutions and influence decisionsStrong customer focus, able to champion the needs of our customers in every featureGood commercial awareness, able to deliver commercial outcomes whilst still delivering for customersStrong understanding of relevant digital technologies, with the ability to harness their potential to drive valueGood numeracy skills, able to digest and track KPIs and manipulate simple spreadsheetsExperience working using agile methodologies in digital product developmentExperience managing digital product life cycles end to endExperience writing detailed User Stories, Acceptance Criteria and testing Experience in developing a push notification strategyDesirable skills, knowledge and experience:Experience working with and developing consumer-facing digital technologies, such as websites and/or apps, ideally in financial serviced, retail, ecommerce, gaming or start up businessesFully versed with up to date biometric log in capabilitiesHas worked in a regulated industry Must be able to drive through change and make a differenceUnderstanding of GDPR rules & regulationsMeasures/ Competencies:Strong project management skills delivering on budget within set timescalesDrive increased revenue through enhanced sale process Increase collections through enhanced payment processesDeliver business cost savings through identifying areas where customers can self-serveImprove customer engagement through analysing adopting and usage of the appOngoing improvement through CRO testingAbility to work agile and find a way for the business to deliver in sprints to ensure we deliver more change’Benefits:Excellent OTE opportunitiesContributory pension scheme25 days holiday entitlement, increasing with service to a maximum of 30 days (pro rata for part-time employees)Your birthday off, every year!Enhanced Maternity and Paternity Policies (subject to qualifying conditions)Company sick pay (subject to scheme rules)Gym membershipPerkbox
