We are looking for a Product Manager to support the company in the launch of our new brand specialising in Ceramics, Composites and Fibres for Defence, Aerospace, Automotive & Medical Industries.The Product Manager will have experience in such Materials and knowledge to support in innovation and production of associated products.Ideally you will be suitably qualified in Material Research/ Materials Science and Engineering or Industrial Design.Product Manager/Composites/Technical Textiles/Project management/Materials Sourcing/Product Launch/Materials Science/Airbags/Automotive/Aerospace/Body ArmourMain Duties:Responsible for the strategy and vision of the brand utilising excellent ProjectManagement skills.Product and Material Sourcing developing new products and sourcing raw fibres and materials for production as well as manufacturers.Responsible for managing MRD and PRD documents ensuring justification is provided and maintained.Managing product release dates liaising with the Manufacturer, Marketing and Sales Teams as required working to critical path dates set out and managed by yourself.Managing dependencies in and across releases to complete release phases andmilestones.Own the process of generating, developing and creating new, innovative ideas, it will be your responsibility to ensure the correct products are launched and correctly promoted to push the product strategy forwards.You will manage the Quality of products from Fibre/ Material to Product and ensure they are to standardKey Performance Areas:Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products.Product Innovation and an interest in 3D Printing and other innovations.Excellent teamwork skills.Material Research & Testing.Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.Technical Textiles.Engineering.Manufacturing.ScienceProduct Manager/Composites/Technical Textiles/Project management/Materials Sourcing/Product Launch/Materials Science/Airbags/Automotive/Aerospace/Body Armour/NPI/New Product IntroductionIf you feel you fit the bill please Apply now Required skills
