We are looking for a developing Product Manager for this growing chemicals company in Leeds. With opportunities for growth and progression of responsibilities, the role of Product Manager involves managing supplier relationships and preparing/implementing supplier and product strategies in line with company goals and objectives.A background in the chemicals industry is highly desirable, as is strong commercial awareness to enable you to supply commercially useful information to enable the sales force to operate more effectively.Key Tasks include:* Coordination of key suppliers, managing buying strategies and price negotiations* Responsibility for the profitability of these key areas* Prepare forecasts and market reports as and when required* Assist in the successful marketing of the company* Sign off all technical / RMI forms for customers when neededYou will have:* Experience in category or product management* A background in chemicals, ideally surfactants or related chemicals* Excellent communication skills and a team player* Commercial and technical awareness* Excellent leadership skills* Competent IT skills including database management* Ability to grow with this ever-expanding positionEmployment Details * Salary: £25,000-£28,000 per annum - dependent on experience* Full-time / Permanent* Good pension with additional benefits* Great team and culture* Opportunity for career progressionPlease apply with an up to date CV.Our recruitment process includes telephone and video interviewing, so you will not be required to attend an in-person interview with Key Appointments UK Ltd.
