Job Description

What youll do We are looking for a Product Designer to join our extremely talented Customer Tribe design team.The Customer Tribe is at the centre of our relationship with our customers, centred on our vision to deliver and inspire better moments for customers.We design, develop, test, and maintain products and services across multiple domains including Account and Authentication, Payments, On-boarding, Safer Gambling, Customer Operations, Marketing Technology and Promotions.Having gained experience in the digital / ecommerce industry youll apply your well-developed UI, UX and research skill sets to create digital experiences that are easy to use, engaging, consistent, achieve business goals and meet user needs, whilst encouragingSafer Gambling. Youll work collaboratively with the business to create innovative products, applications, and software.Every product designer at Sky Betting and Gaming is expected to work across the full design stack.This is a hugely exciting opportunity to create experiences and products for the UKs largest online bookmaker.Here are some of things youll get up to in the role:

  • Utilise your knowledge of UX & UI principles and lean methodologies to deliver sketches, wire frames, low-fi designs and rapid prototypes to effectively communicate your solutions to users and the business, building confidence in your design solutions.
  • Youll work closely with other Product Designers, Product Managers. Business Analysts, Software Engineers, and other stakeholders across multi-disciplinary agile teams with a focus on all touch points to help define and deliver best-in-class digital products.
  • Help the small teams (squads) you work with to make better decisions by contributing to gathering / analysing qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Youll be involved in validation of your design outputs and assist with usability tests (from planning, facilitating sessions, collecting, and analysing user data and communicating.
How youll do it
  • For you being a designer is not a spectator sport. Youll take a pro-active, personable and sociable approach, happy to get your designs out there and not hide behind your desk.
  • Draw on your experience working as either a Product/ UX/ UI designer as were looking for candidates with the desire to learn and better themselves across the full Product Design spectrum.
  • Working knowledge of industry standard software is desirable including Figma, Sketch. Zeplin and Miro.
  • Knowledge of testing and design validation tools would be an advantage. For example, Userzoom, User Testing, Optimal Workshop.
  • Knowledge of working with component libraries and design systems would be an advantage.
