The Procurement Analyst is a new position based in Leeds. This role provides a great platform for an individual who thrives on delivering commercial value and outstanding customer service applying both to deliver solutions that add value to the business.The Procurement Analyst supports the management of our contracts and provides practical experience in managing a range of contracts and tailoring contract terms and conditions. You will support a dynamic variety of key projects and purchasing activity.You will join a collaborative and hands on team providing high quality Procurement and commercial project support at a leading organisation with a worldwide presence.You will be expected to take the initiative working independently at times within our fast paced and highly challenging environment providing a great platform for you to strengthen your skills.Your remit will include:* Undertaking low value contract reviews, putting in place standard contracts and tailoring contracts as required across a range of categories* Managing a range of contract management tools and databases to support contract management and compliance* Supporting supplier management activities within an established governance framework* Providing a "Help Desk" service to support contract and supplier queries* Providing analytical support for the team reviewing supplier performance and commercial data* Interacting with the Procurement team and stakeholders on an international basisBackground:* Experience in a procurement and contract management role* Adept at analysing and presenting data in Excel and PowerPoint* Adept at reading and understanding the small print with a focus on details* Experience in negotiating commercial contracts* A familiarity with and understanding of standard terms and conditions in contractsBehavioural:* Highly communicative in style and skilled in presenting in both the written and spoken word* Clear customer service and solutions focus* Collaborative approach to team work coupled with the confidence to show initiative and work independentlySalary:£35,000 + pension, holiday, flexible benefits.If you want to discuss this position in more detail, please call Carl Walker at Elevation Recruitment Group.Elevation Recruitment Groups Procurement and Supply Chain division work with a vast range of business across Yorkshire and Humberside, Lincolnshire and East Midlands regions.
