Large International UK Consultancy are looking for Flood Risk Engineers in the UK. They are expanding our teams across all levels to support our delivery of a variety of projects in the Rivers and Coastal sector whilst supporting our Water, Rail, Highways and Tunnels divisions. Our key clients include the Environment Agency, Local Authorities and other leading national and international infrastructure providers.They have successfully delivered many high-profile projects including the award-winning Newhaven Flood Alleviation Scheme, Dalmuir Wastewater Treatment Works in Scotland and the £400M Shatin-Central Link Cross-Harbour Tunnels in Hong Kong.They have recently won a £1M package of flood alleviation schemes in the Northwest of England and a number of site supervision contracts for flood alleviation schemes across the Southeast. Our pipeline of opportunities includes some of the most exciting major infrastructure projects in Europe, including HS2 Phases 1 and 2 and the Oosterwelt Link Immersed Tube Tunnel in Belgium.This is an exciting opportunity to become part of our expansion process and to help maintain and grow their position as a leading supplier of engineering and environmental services.The Role & ResponsibilitiesIm looking to speak to any experienced Senior/Principal Civil Engineer to help. As part of your role you will take responsibility for providing technical expertise and leading technical delivery on a wide variety of projects, including asset assessment and management plans, design of civil engineering works and site supervision. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of technical delivery ensuring high quality standards and working with project managers to ensure delivery to budget and programme. You will also be responsible for ensuring the projects you deliver take due regard for the latest Health and Safety policies and practices, including working in accordance with the Construction, Design and Management (CDM) Regulations 2015.Key skills
