Job Description

Principal Resourcing are looking to appoint a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant for a buzzing Primary School in Seacroft, Leeds. The role is due to start in June and will run until the end of the academic year, with potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate. You can expect to be paid up to £75 per day depending upon your experience.Working as part of a creative team, the TA will work across Years 5 and 6, providing 1:1 and small group work. You will be working with enthusaistic students with a lot of character, who will ensure that each day is like no other! Knowledge and experience of the KS2 curriculum and SATs is an essential requirement.Within the role you will be required to:

  • Support and enthuse young learners to reach their potential
  • React to children’s interests to offer a child-centred approach
  • Provide opportunities that will excite and ignite a passion for learning
  • Work with both small guided groups and 1:1 support for reading and writing
    • Skills and attributes:
  • Cache Level 3 or experience working within a school setting
  • KS2 SATs experience
  • Have empathy, patience and the drive to make a difference
  • An observant and responsive approach
  • A positive, energetic and enthusiastic attitude
