Job Description

Do you have a Marketing or POS backgroundWould you love to add value across our in-store communications and see the fruits of your labour land across our storesCould you thrive in the opportunity to help optimise the presence of our Masterbrandand POS in our convenience strategyWere recruiting for a POS planner (Point of Sale), to sit within our Masterbrand in-store communications and Marketing Operations team under the Customer function of our business. You will work closely with the POS and broader Customer/Marketing team, Retail,Strategy and Commercial teams to deliver POS that drives value cut through, reaffirms low prices and drives quality reappraisal across the Asda convenience formats and strategic projects.About The RoleAs a Instore Marketing/POS Planner youll be a key business partner working collaboratively with our Customer, Retail, Strategy and Commercial teams, supporting delivery of the in-store communications strategy in line with key customer and commercial propositionsthrough a cohesive customer journey.Youll define and gain alignment on the POS solutions, critical path and implementation plans for all convenience formats. In addition, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining internal activity plans and for managing the in-store communicationssign off process internally with the POS Manager and POS Senior Manager. This will also include reporting, tracking and escalation process, in addition to supporting post launch autopsy process and competitor reviews.About you

  • A track record of working with brands and agencies
  • Ability to network and build relationships
  • Organised, experience of critical path management with good attention to detail
  • Proven track record of operational and executional excellence
  • Strong communication skillsgood ability to engage stakeholders and knowing when to escalate
  • An understanding of store formats, with the ability to adapt plans and thinking
  • An understanding of commercial acumen and budget responsibility
